Hello friends! Sorry it has been a while since I blogged. I've been very busy here at El Monte. We had an awesome year last year and finished with lots of experiences! Both, in my personal life and also in ministry. I'm not sure if you know, but I got engaged last October and Lord willing we will be getting married on August 20th! I'm very excited to see God at work and what He has for us in the future.
My commitment with WEC, ends in August. As of you know I've been trying to raise support almost for a year. This has been a learning process and a HUGE challenge for my faith and ministry.
In the last 2 months I've received $40 dollars total from the USA, ($10 in January, and $30 in February) and it's not enough. I'm not complaining, I just would like to invite you to continue praying for God's provision so I can continue serving Him here at El Monte.
We are looking at a very busy Spring-Summer calendar. We will be hosting and organizing different camps throughout this months. It will be a long haul! In the summer Lord willing we will have 4 camps plus a rental group of 200 youth in between two of our camps. So pray that we will be diligent with our time, and how we share about God's love and salvation with our counselors, campers, other staff, etc.
Thank you so much for your time! May the Lord bless you! Hope to hear from you soon.

Moving forward...

Couple weeks ago, I was not sure of what I was going to be doing with my life. God started directing my steps towards a place called El Monte. I have been learning with life that things change, people change, but God doesn't and He will never change. He is always good! In the last year a lot of things have change, even in the last couple of months... the only thing I have to do as a Son of God is to TRUST and to move forward.
Last week I packed everything and moved from Guadalajara to Ticumán, Morelos. It was a step of faith. I drove down here with just enough money to get here. I have been introduced to the community, to a church, and also to my peers at El Monte. I love the families that work here and the place is AMAZING!
I have been invited to come as the Program Director and also to bring in the Mexican face of our camping ministry. I would like to invite you to pray for my ministry at El Monte this summer. Also, I would like to invite you to pray for what is coming after the summer. I hope to stay here for the rest of the year (probably more) and after finishing the requirements of WEC, become a long-term missionary.
On my first visit to El Monte, Paul Wilson (Camp and Ministries Director) shared with me this verse: "His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature and escape the corruption in the world caused by evil desires” 2 Peter 1:3-4 He brought up the importance of all of us as staff to be on the same page and with the same mind. I would like to take this opportunity to invite you to participate with me as I start this new chapter of my life. Get involved! Be part of it!
As of right now, God has provided 16% of the support that I need to finish the summer. I need to have my support raised before June 14th. The total budget for the summer comes up to $2,000 USD that will cover my needs while I am serving at El Monte.
Thanks for taking the time!! May our LORD bless you!
