Greetings once again from Camp Forest Springs. God has allowed me to be here for four and a half months. We are almost reaching the halfway point of my internship. The summer flew by and I had the opportunity to serve with the Adventure Ministries here at CFS. In the past twelve weeks, camp had the opportunity to serve about 4,000 people.
Camp Forest Springs is a year-long camp. The busiest season is not the summer. During the fall and winter, we will host about 7,000 people. Throughout the fall we will have rental groups, retreats, and fun days. Over the winter, the lake in our propriety freezes and when the snow comes, our ski hill starts to be used for skiing, snowboarding, tubing, and more.
Wisconsin is known for long and cold winters. Here at camp, there have been a couple nights that the thermometer has reached down in the 30’s. Give us a couple months and we will be covered with snow and the cold is going to be VERY COLD!! I don’t want to rush to the winter instead I will continue enjoying the warmer weather
May the LORD bless you!
