Moving forward...

Couple weeks ago, I was not sure of what I was going to be doing with my life. God started directing my steps towards a place called El Monte. I have been learning with life that things change, people change, but God doesn't and He will never change. He is always good! In the last year a lot of things have change, even in the last couple of months... the only thing I have to do as a Son of God is to TRUST and to move forward.

Last week I packed everything and moved from Guadalajara to Ticumán, Morelos. It was a step of faith. I drove down here with just enough money to get here. I have been introduced to the community, to a church, and also to my peers at El Monte. I love the families that work here and the place is AMAZING!

I have been invited to come as the Program Director and also to bring in the Mexican face of our camping ministry. I would like to invite you to pray for my ministry at El Monte this summer. Also, I would like to invite you to pray for what is coming after the summer. I hope to stay here for the rest of the year (probably more) and after finishing the requirements of WEC, become a long-term missionary.

On my first visit to El Monte, Paul Wilson (Camp and Ministries Director) shared with me this verse: "His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature and escape the corruption in the world caused by evil desires” 2 Peter 1:3-4 He brought up the importance of all of us as staff to be on the same page and with the same mind. I would like to take this opportunity to invite you to participate with me as I start this new chapter of my life. Get involved! Be part of it!

As of right now, God has provided 16% of the support that I need to finish the summer. I need to have my support raised before June 14th. The total budget for the summer comes up to $2,000 USD that will cover my needs while I am serving at El Monte.

Thanks for taking the time!! May our LORD bless you!

A day to celebrate!!!

Hello everyone!! sorry for not been constant updating my blog... there were a lot of things going on in my life. I am glad you are here, reading my blog, and wondering what I am up to.

It was been exactly a year sice I graduate from College! and on the 5th will be my first complete year back in Mexico. I am thankfull to God for the opportunity He gave me to spend five and a half years in the US! I am excited about what God has been doing lately in my life and I want to take some time to share with you about it.

I would like to start sharing with you a Bible verse that has been very present in my life. “Put GOD in charge of your work, then what you've planned will take place” Proverbs 16:3- The Message. I think that is until now that I understood what it ment to put God in charge of my work... it was couple months ago that I started praying, asking God what should I do with my life. He answered my prayers and showed me a place that I was a little bit familiar with but haven't had not had the chance to visit. So I talked to Paul Wilson Ministry and Camp Director, and he invited me to visit him at El Monte

Before that we spend some time over the phone, praying and talking about what God was doing in my life. I shared with Paul that I felt God was calling me to work at El Monte full time. So, I started the application process and on April 30th, was accepted and ivited to be a short term missionary with the potential of becoming a full-time WEC missionary and raising financial support. (WEC stands for Worldwide Evangelization for Christ.) I have been asked to come on board on May 13th!

Please pray for me and for the time I will be spending there this summer. I think it is important for you to know that El Monte does not have money to pay salaries, and because it is a short term position with the potential of becoming a long term, they have asked me to raise my own support for the summer. I have been provided with a place to live, but I will need to cover my expenses which are about $500 per month.

Thank you so much for your time and prayers!
Be part of it!
